Plains of Beginnings: Starter fields for boars, early wolves, and Episode 1. Get it by Walk out of the Town of Beginnings gate. Use it to Stay near the gate until level 5. The ruins hill on the side of the gate is the Boar Chieftain.
The plains outside the gate hold the boar quest, early wolves, and the Episode 1 training with Kirito. This is not a safe zone.

Walk out of the Town of Beginnings gate.
Stay near the gate until level 5. The ruins hill on the side of the gate is the Boar Chieftain.
You keep the character level you already reached, and the experience bar toward the next level returns to zero. You respawn in a town. Optional Permanent Death mode is a separate ruleset in which death deletes the character.
On a keyboard, press O to toggle first person and third person. The experience page lists PC, console, mobile, and tablet. In-game key remapping is reported as unavailable.
The Codes screen and the in-game cog menu are both documented, but no working code string and no expired code string were published as of October 17, 2026. Do not type placeholder words.
Player trading of Col and items is reported to unlock at character level 5. Below that level the trade menu does not complete a transfer.
The weapon has to be drawn first. Press Q. If the blade is sheathed, left click does not damage the target. Third person makes the sheath state easier to see.
