What you start with
You spawn in the Town of Beginnings on Floor 1 with 20 Col. The town is a safe zone: health recovers there without a potion. Outside town, early characters do not recover health on their own.
If you own the Private Servers pass, the teleport crystal at this spawn can send you to Floor 1 - Private.
Do this before the first boar
- Talk to the tutorial Black Swordsman in town. The introduction asks you to parry a boar and defeat a Frenzy Boar.
- Sprint laps inside town until Stamina reaches level 5. That rank is reported to set the stamina pool to 200. Sprinting also raises Agility. A horse does not train these stats.
- Learn the draw key. Press Q before you try to hit anything.
- Open the three starter counters: weapons and a starter shield, potions and remedies, and armor.
Starter shops
| Counter | What it sells | Known price |
|---|---|---|
| Weapon shop | Starter weapon for each weapon type, starter shield | Wooden shield is also listed at 25 Col for +2% defense |
| Potion stand | Health potions, stamina potions, bleeding, poison, and paralysis remedies, teleport crystals, lanterns | Buy a remedy before you leave if you can spare the Col |
| Armor shop | Level 3 and level 5 armor | Level 3 Ferion armor costs 250 Col |
Ferion armor is reported as +5 speed, +1.5% defense, and +1.5% heaviness. Heaviness slows stamina recovery. Buy it around level 3, after a few quest turn-ins, rather than on the opening 20 Col.
The Starter Pack pass (499 Robux) gives a level 1 Hardened Plate, a level 1 Uneven Longsword, and 2,500 Col. That pack is equipment and currency, not a costume.
The gate quest
Outside the main gate there are about five boar spawns. Take the repeatable quest to defeat 10 boars from the gate NPC.
Two reward reports exist for that same turn-in, so do not treat either number as the only possible payout:
| Report | Quest reward | Per-boar notes |
|---|---|---|
| Gate-route notes | About 55 XP and 138 Col | Individual boars about 16–45 XP and 6–60 Col, or a tighter 33–45 XP and 33–60 Col in the leveling route |
| Combat-route notes | 140 XP and 60 Col | Standard Frenzy Boars about 6–13 XP; purple Corrupted Frenzy Boars around levels 6–11 about 40–80+ XP |
Boars open with a charge. Hold F to take the dash, then hit. A normal hit is reported around 25 damage and can apply bleeding. A one-time medical NPC near the gate sends you to Orion, on the left side of the plaza, for a Feeble Healing Potion.
When to leave
Stay on boars until character level 5. Level 5 unlocks party trading. After that, the next settlements are Medai for level 5 weapons and wolves, and the story road north toward Tolbana. Weapon durability can hit zero and break the blade; replace it at the starter weapon shop before you travel.
If the opening fight fails
- Attacks do nothing: press Q and confirm the weapon is in hand.
- You cannot drink: several reports say potions require the weapon to be sheathed. Try Q, then the quick slot.
- The experience bar vanished after a death: that is the normal penalty. The level number stays. Permanent Death is a different mode.
- You ran out of stamina on the first dash: go back inside town and sprint to Stamina 5 before another pull.
